Endon Well Dressing (2006)

Moorland Nursery School's children have participated with Endon's Well Dressing Festival for over 20 years.

Each year the children collaborate to produce a collage for display near to the Well in Endon. Our picture is made using the same principles as the main attraction: a clay base is decorated with moss, gravel, bark, flowers and leaves.

Ladybird, Ladybird fly away home. We have been thinking about creatures we find in our gardens.

Clay arrives Clay is pressed into the frame The clay is edged with moss
We draw a picture on the clay The picture is edged with cones The picture is decorated with gravel
Moss and leaves are added We visit Endon to see their picture being made Our picture is taking shape!
Some finishing touches are applied Our picture is ready to display!  

The project takes a whole, frantic week to complete; we hope you enjoy the result!
